Bio

	Richard Martin's illustrations are seen all over the world through his work as a stamp designer for countries from Azerbaijan to Zambia. His finely detailed acrylic paintings have also shown up on book, video and software jackets, magazine covers, posters and greeting cards       Richard has a BFA in Illustration from The School of Visual Arts and an MA in Computer Graphics and MFA in Graphic Design from The New York Institute of Technology.He has taught Drawing, Painting, Airbrush, 2D Design, 3D Design, Book Design and Sculpture at Nassau Community College, Gibbs College and Middlesex County College. Currently he is an adjunct faculty member of the Fine Arts Department at The New York Institute of Technology in New York, NY.       Outside of illustration and its history, his other interests include classical music, silent films, comic books and stereo views.
